T & P didn't settle for engagement photos that looked like everyone else's. Capturing these two in their most natural element was one of my favorite experiences of the year. We wandered around Inyo National Forest all day, starting at Crowley Lake and working our way across the Long Valley Caldera, ending the day at the John Muir Wilderness loop.

As the day went on, T & P traded the traditional photoshoot outfits for boots and hiking gear, and the privilege of sticking with them all day among the wildflowers out in the California sun reminded me of my own roots—freely roaming in nature with good company, camera in hand.
